Tanya Regan, USAFA ’80, interviewed on Kim Monson Show

(Kim Monson Show) The Kim Monson Show interviewed Tanya Regan, who is the assistant vice president for outreach of Stand Together Against Racism and Radicalism in the Services (STARRS), an organization that works to eliminate what it calls anti-American ideologies from the U.S. military and to restore a warfighter ethos of meritocracy, readiness, and accountability.

She graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1980, in the first academy class that included women.

Regan has represented STARRS at the Air Force Academy, where she attended a 2025 meeting of the academy’s Board of Visitors with other STARRS officers.

In 2026 she wrote to the academy’s Association of Graduates asking its board to review the alumni association’s sponsorship of affinity groups based on race or gender, after graduates carried a sign at an association event that she called political and insubordinate.

On The Kim Monson Show, Regan said STARRS, which two service academy graduates founded in 2021, focuses on excellence and meritocracy in the armed services.

She previewed “America at a Crossroads: Preserving Faith, Family and Freedom,” a free STARRS forum at Dream City Church in Scottsdale, Arizona, with retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn as keynote speaker.

Interview starts around the 21:06 mark.
