Supe to SecArmy Wormuth: “….our continued transformation efforts” at West Point

In October 2008, Barack Obama made an infamous statement, “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”

Paul Kengor, a college professor and author of many books, including “The Devil and Karl Marx: Communism’s Long March of Death, Deception, and Infiltration,” and “The Communist“, wrote in an article about this statement,

” . . . But even then, the words “fundamentally transform” should have alarmed everyone. We Americans generally don’t do fundamental transformation. We make changes, yes, small and large, but who among us — other than the most radical revolutionaries — actually want to fundamentally transform the nation?

Many people think that America has many problems, but those can be addressed without a fundamental transformation. Ask professors who teach history or political ideologies (as I have for two decades), and we will tell you that totalitarianism is the ideology that fundamentally TRANSFORMS.

Indeed, the textbook definition of totalitarianism, which I’ve scribbled on the chalkboard every fall and spring semester since 1997, is to seek to fundamentally transform — specifically, to fundamentally TRANSFORM human nature via some form of political-ideological-cultural upheaval.

So, that being the case, I winced when Barack Obama said that, and then felt sick to the stomach when I watched people blissfully and blindly applaud without question or objection…..”

So it was rather concerning to read this memo from West Point Superintendent Gilland to then-Secretary of the Army Christine Wormuth, which was discovered after Judicial Watch had to sue West Point for records concerning West Point’s removal of the word “Duty, Honor, Country” from the official mission statement and changed to Army values.

Highlighted below, he talks about their “continued TRANSFORMATION efforts” at West Point.

Why were they wanting to transform West Point and into what?

And yes, the MacArthur Society of West Point Graduates has been working to save and restore West Point from the Marxist/left-wing road it has been going down.

Paul Kengor said in another article:

…For that book (“The Communist: Frank Marshall Davis, The Untold Story of Barack Obama’s Mentor“), I interviewed Dr. John Drew, who met Obama at Occidental College, where Drew had run the campus Marxist organization. Drew’s girlfriend introduced the young Obama as “one of us.” Drew told me: “Obama was already an ardent Marxist when I met him in the fall of 1980. I know it’s incendiary to say this, but Obama was basically a Marxist-Leninist.”

You can read Dreams From My Father and catch Obama ruminating about how he “hung out” with Marxist professors and attended “socialist conferences.” John Drew hastens to add that what Obama did not explain in Dreams is that he “was in 100 percent, total agreement with these Marxist professors.” Drew continued:

“At the time I met him — this was probably around Christmastime in 1980, because I had flown out during Christmas break from Cornell, where I was doing my graduate work — young Obama was looking forward to an imminent social revolution, literally a movement where the working classes would overthrow the ruling class and institute a kind of socialist utopia in the United States. I mean, that’s how extreme his views were.… I was kind of more [in] the Frankfurt School of Marxism at the time. I felt like I was doing Obama a favor by pointing out that the Marxist revolution that he and [our friends] were hoping for was really kind of a pipedream…. I was still a card-carrying Marxist, but I was kind of a more advanced, East Coast, Cornell University Marxist, I think, at the time. [Obama] kind of thought I was, you know, a little reactionary… like I was kind of insensitive to the needs of the coming revolution. [Obama] was full-bore, 100% into that simpleminded Marxist, revolutionary mental framework.”
