VALUES
The central issue question of the current period in the United States is whether a militant leftist fascist minority should continue to be permitted by society at large to wage a revolution against our Judeo-Christian society and its Constitutional democratic republican values.
For the past fifteen years, the Left has increasingly waged war against the United States. One component of this fascist or Marxist warfare focuses on the Department of Defense. This war is not really about the social society civil rights as embedded in the Left’s DEI and woke based approach. Clearly, this is a revolutionary “bag of tricks” to corrupt our defense capabilities. It targets the heart and soul of our national defense, this is our people, the members of our military services. Its objective is to weaken and eventually destroy the values that are the bed rock of our military. Swearing allegiance to our Constitution is to be replaced with a personal oath of fealty to the President as an individual not unlike the oath taken by the German military in 1933 to Adolf Hitler.
What the traditional heritage Duty, Honor, and Country standards as the foundation values of our military? These values are immutable and apply to our society at large. They are not transitory. They cannot be crudely just paid lip service. They are the glue that binds us together to defend our nation. They are the core of our military professionalism and sworn dedication to defend our nation against all enemies. They are not political in nature or intent. They represent an apolitical statement of core military values. They should be core societal values. Indeed, they must be societal core values.
Woke policies and emphasis on identity politics in DoD falsely seek to offer a utopian societal vision. Within the DoD and throughout society in general they are building blocks of a totalitarian regime of governance based on race and sex. This is the heart of a so called ‘progressive” dogma. In reality, it is as totalitarian as Hitler’s National Socialism, Mussolini’s Fascism, Stalin’s Communism, and Mao’s Little Red Book falsehoods. The common binding element of DEI, wokeness, and the totalitarian movements is Marxism. Lenin, Stalin, and Mao were three individuals who were purely evil revolutionaries.
DoD has willingly adopted and supported DEI and wokeness. It has become one of our societal instruments of Marxist cultural, social, and political revolution. DoD’s traditional apolitical values have been corrupted. DEI and wokeness have been and are being openly and knowingly adopted by DoD senior leaders. Indeed, this proposition probably applies to all levels of DoD leadership.
Blacks comprise only 12+% of our society. However, many are a key component od woke identity politics. They are the “tail wagging the dog”. Professional military personnel traditionally do not dwell on race. Afterall, we all bleed the same red blood. Within DoD, race has become an artificial political, social, and readiness factor. In combat, Soldiers fight for their fellow Soldiers. They do not ask about the race of their comrades-in-arms.
Identity politics is a civilian malady that is being forcefully imposed by cum Marxist so called “leaders” on DoD military personnel. Identity politics is weakening military readiness. DoD DEI and woke Marxist policies are corrosive and seriously weaken our military services.
Values are extremely important to maintain the effectiveness of our national defense and survival of the United States in a very dangerous World. We are still a Constitutional Republic. Our Constitutional rights and freedoms are embedded in the First, Second, Fourth, Fifth, and Fourteenth Amendments to the Constitution. These are ours to defend, let atrophy, or destroy. DEI and wokeism seek to destroy these rights. The proponents of Marxist tyranny seek to institutionalize a totalitarian government that is not of and for the people.
