Lt. Gen Rod Bishop and Politics in the Service Academies

On today’s episode of the RealClearDefense podcast “Hot Wash”, RCD Editor David Craig (Lt Col, USMC, Ret) speaks with retired Lt. Gen. Rod Bishop about Veteran’s Day, military sacrifice, and the politicization of the service academies.

Over his 34 years of service in the Air Force Gen Bishop served in Desert Storm, Somalia, Bosnia, Kosovo and Haiti. He was Dir of Planning and Policy at US Southern Command in Miami. Retiring in 2008, his last assignment was as Commander, 3rd Air Force, in Ramstein Air Force Bace in Germany where he oversaw all American air and space activities in the 93 countries in Europe and Africa.

Today, he is the President and CEO of STARRS, Inc. or Stand Against Racism and Radicalism in the Services, an advocacy organization that “seeks to educate military leaders, the men and women that serve, and the American People of the dangers of the conjoined, anti-American ideologies of neo-Marxism and Critical Race Theory.”
