(DOD IG) On January 20, 2025, the President issued Executive Orders, “Ending Radical and Wasteful Government Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) Programs and Preferencing,” and “Initial Rescissions of Harmful Executive Orders and Actions” and on January 27, 2025, he issued Executive Order, “Restoring America’s Fighting Force.”
In response to these Executive Orders, on January 29, 2025, the Secretary of Defense issued guidance, “Restoring America’s Fighting Force,” describing the DoD’s actions to end DEI programs and activities.
