DACODAI is Terminated

The Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel & Readiness posted on X on 20 February 2025:

“Today we notified Congress that the Department will terminate the activities of the Defense Advisory Committee on Diversity and Inclusion, in accordance with the President’s Executive Order, “Ending Radical and Wasteful Government DEI Programs and Preferencing.”

Our engagement with Congress on this matter served as notice of the dissolution of the advisory committee and began the 60-day period required by law.”

The Defense Advisory Committee on Diversity and Inclusion, known as DACODAI, was set up in 2021 to be Secretary of Defense Austin’s senior advisory committee on DEI, aggressively pushing this agenda on the Armed Forces.

STARRS began its engagement with DACODAI in 2023, trying to present the other side to a very one-sided committee. We tried to warn them how the CRT/DEI agenda was damaging recruitment, retention and moral, but they didn’t want to listen.
