Army DACODAI DOD Woke Agenda

Statement to DACODAI – Colonel Tim Hughes

Statement to DACODAI by Colonel Tim Hughes, US Army ret

I am registering to attend the Defense Advisory Committee On Diversity And Inclusion (DACODAI) meeting to be held 02-03 May. Unfortunately, I am unable to attend in person.

This topic is of interest and great concern to me. I am a retired U.S. Army Colonel with over 36 years served on active duty, in the National Guard and Reserve. I have served in conflict areas across the globe including Central America, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.

Recognizing strategic leadership failures, I joined the MacArthur Society, to ensure that free-thinking Americans have the ability to voice dissent against horrifically terrible strategic failures in leadership and decisions.

One of those many decisions / policies is the current and sweeping effort to destroy the selfless, colorblind warrior culture in which I served. We have done nothing less than create division and erode morale by targeting majority / minority animosity.

Recruiting and retention has or soon will pay the price. I for one, do not recommend uniform service to young people.

Strategic failures of leadership by SECDEFs and CJCSs indicate that while tactical and operational success are acknowledged, strategic failures are swept under the rug with no individual or group accepting responsibility or held to account.

Ultimately, our combat readiness has and will continue to erode due to the politicization and failures of leadership.

I have always lived in a diverse world, born in Jamaica, friends and comrades of all stripes and flavors thru the 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s, and 20s.

And yet our sons and daughters are driven apart from each other by hateful and divisive rhetoric masked in DEI.

The current gap in recruiting appears heavily linked as a backlash to this overzealous program and implementation thereof.

Please register me and provide the link necessary to join virtually.

Thank you.

COL (Ret.) Tim Hughes
US Army
