(DOD) Yesterday, informed by the recently concluded 45-day review of DOD advisory committees, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth directed the conclusion of service of all members of each DOD advisory committee that had been subject to the review, consistent with applicable law.
Secretary Hegseth appreciates the members’ efforts on behalf of the department and the United States of America, but changes are needed to support the new strategic direction and policy priorities of the department and to ensure departmental resources are used efficiently.
Today the Department officially terminated the Defense Advisory Committee on Diversity and Inclusion, in accordance with the President’s Executive Order, “Ending Radical and Wasteful Government DEI Programs and Preferencing.”

Consistent with the President’s and Secretary’s guidance, the Department is focused on building a force that rewards individual initiative, excellence, and hard work based on merit – not immutable characteristics.

Posts on the Defense Advisory Committee for Diversity and Inclusion (DACODAI)
Does this include shutting down DACOWITS?
If so, this is brilliant.
DACOWITS has done more to harm combat readiness than any other organization in the DoD.

This was from April 10. Note that Herman Bulls is also on the advisory committee. He established and funded the annual DEI conference at West Point.
