Secretary of War Pete Hegseth had some interesting things to say aboard the USS Lincoln in an interview with Real America’s Voice TV network.

“What a big surprise that young men were not interested in joining the Defense Department when the advertisements were about “my two mommies“.
What you’ve seen is a very different ethos. It’s gender neutral, merit-based and colorblind.
We want the best of the best. We want young men. We want strong men. We want men. We want to do tough things. We’re going to empower you in that process.
So as we grow that force, we’ve seen the enthusiasm. I mean, a historic surge in recruitment.
An interesting part of it is, at least initially, the recruits we were getting in were 2 to 3 years older than normal. It’s because a lot of them had said, “I don’t want to join what Joe Biden’s doing with that social experiment.”
Then in November of 2024, they saw a new president that might actually get back to basics.
Another interesting tidbit; I don’t know if we’ve ever said this publicly. Under the Biden administration, there’s one hour of television that they advertise the most on. In fact, it shocked us.
What hour of network television do you think the Biden administration spent the most ad dollars on for the Defense Department?
It was The View. The View! So a lot of a lot of big, strong young “men” watching The View. Yeah.
We’ve totally inverted the way this department does things like that.
So it’s strong. It’s tough. It’s a challenge. Can you make it? Can you cut it?

This is yet another example of the woke Biden DOD targeting liberal women to be in the Armed Forces to push the DEI agenda.
STARRS attended the Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin’s senior DEI advisory committee public meeting where they said they wanted to reach a goal of 50% men and 50% women in the armed forces. Not civilian, the armed forces. Wouldn’t China, North Korea and Iran love that?
