U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General (JAG) Officer Benjamin France is accused of threatening January 6 and ICE agents in a post to his X account on Saturday.
“And we will hunt down every J6 and ICE agent again,” France allegedly wrote in the X post.
Sam Shoemate, an intelligence officer and retired U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer 2, posted a screenshot of the post, purportedly from France’s account, on Tuesday.
“Meet Benjamin France, aka ‘Benny.’ Benny made a comment threatening to ‘hunt down every J6 and ICE agent’ three days ago on X,” Shoemate said in a post on X. (that post has 9.4 Millions views)
🧵Meet Benjamin France, aka “Benny.”
Benny made a comment threatening to “hunt down every J6 and ICE agent” three days ago on X.
Why should we care that Benny is threatening federal agents? Because Benny is an active duty Navy JAG Officer. 1/6 pic.twitter.com/0tqkv5hmf4

Normally I wouldn’t care about comments like this, but since Benny decided to threaten federal agents, I’ll post his comments directed at @SecDef as an added bonus. 5/6 pic.twitter.com/8UGUOQ5qKy

Benny’s chain of command has been notified. However, in case you’d like to follow up, this should help.

Shoemate also shared images, purportedly from France’s LinkedIn profile, showing Benjamin France taking the oath to join the U.S. Navy JAG Corps, along with France’s professional headshot.
Shoemate noted that France deleted both his X and LinkedIn account after being identified.
“Normally I wouldn’t care about comments like this, but since Benny decided to threaten federal agents, I’ll post his comments directed @SecDef as an added bonus,” Shoemate added.
The post includes another set of images, allegedly from France, containing derogatory comments directed at Hegseth.
A screenshot shows France allegedly addressing Department of Defense (DOD) Press Secretary Kingsley Cortes and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, stating both individuals “are a joke at the DOD. An 0-4 guardsman should never be in charge of all American forces. An embarrassment to the military and the nation.”
The other image depicts another alleged post from France’s X account that states, “Can’t wait for your ass to eventually be fired when Hegseth eventually drinks himself into a coma. You worthless piece of shit.”
“Benny’s chain of command has been notified,” Shoemate asserted. “However, in case you’d like to follow up, this should help. This kind of threatening behavior towards agents, who are already under fire, simply cannot be allowed, especially from an officer whose job is to provide legal advice to his command and holds sway over policy that affects potentially thousands of sailors.”
Shoemate also included France’s alleged California bar license profile.
The Daily Caller reached out to the U.S. Navy JAG Corps office for comment regarding France’s alleged remarks on social media.
A spokesperson from the U.S. Navy responded that the Navy has been made aware of the situation and is currently looking into the matter.

The real question is how many other “Bennys” are out there in sensitive government roles, quietly radicalized, with security clearances and strategic positions? This seems like a systemic issue.

I can say that an uncomfortable number of Air Force JAGs I encountered were borderline Marxist/Leninist.

@SecDef @PeteHegseth Pete – as someone with multiple family members as active duty who are absolutely thrilled with your leadership I need to point out this thread. It appears that someone in the JAG is working to undermine all the hard work you and the troops under you are…

@Learnedpolitic As a former Navy man your conduct is a disgrace to the uniform we once both wore. I take great comfort knowing the court-martial is just around the corner for you.

To be so triggered by ICE agents doing their jobs & being attacked by violent rioters says a lot. This US Navy Jag has a problem with law & order. Let a more deserving patriot replace him after he’s dishonorably discharged.

When I warn that America’s armed force has an enemy within problem, I’m being very serious.
These communists must be removed enmasse if there is to be any hope of lasting military reform. https://t.co/dH1wrdIu5O

JAGs like Benny are the reason most military commanders in the DoD never fully realized the COVID VAX mandate was unlawful. https://t.co/Lgr7MEW2GE

Be concerned about the cabal of communist JAG officers, which work their way all the way up to the TJAGs of the branches, working in the shadows conspiring to block and upend the efforts of the current administration to remove their ideological, Marxist rot from the military.”

🚨JAG Corps
Up until Trump swore in, affinity groups were officially endorsed and supported by the Army’s JAG Corps. Involvement in these groups was seen as a stepping stone to the higher echelons in the JAG Community.

What Benny did was foolish. He lashed out on social media and showed his immaturity in doing so.
The real threat is from the senior leadership in the JAG community who are actively shaping policy and resisting orders from the current administration from the shadows.
