Well, Frank, you know, my heart breaks right now. Last night, 18 years ago, I lost a third of my platoon in combat in Iraq. Heroes among men burned catastrophically by IEDs that were set by jihadis that we were fighting in that country.
Those IEDs, in large part enabled by people like Qassem Soleimani, an Iranian that is still praised today by men that have been invited to brief at US STRATCOM, let that sink in for a minute.
The Marines that I served with, who died, were killed by IEDs that were enabled by a man who’s praised by a keynote speaker at US STRATCOM.
You know, Sun Tzu, the Chinese military philosopher, said that the supreme art of war is to subdue your enemy without fighting.
Frank, you and I have long worried about at least one method of doing that, which would be to take out our electric grid, for example, our critical infrastructure.
But let me explain the other way that it’s actually underway right now in subduing the American military in such a way that you wouldn’t have to fight it, and that would be to just to remake it, to make it in the image of, for example, the People’s Liberation Army.
I know that you already had Matt Lohmeier on. I’m assuming that he talked about his incredible book, Irresistible Revolution. What I want to do is just reinforce that point.
There are very, very serious people in charge at the very highest levels of our government, of the Department of Defense. We might not think they’re serious, when we look at, for example, the evacuation, the withdrawal from Afghanistan.
How many general officers or civilian equivalents stood up and said, wait a minute, I’m not going to vacate Bagram first. That’s strategically unreasonable.
How many of them stood up when the flatbed trucks poured across the Pakistani border and carted off our most sophisticated military equipment to be probably sold to China, re engineered against us?
How many of them stood up when we gave over $80 billion worth of military assets and just hard cash to the Taliban? And then they handed the Taliban a list of American citizens? That just happened. That happened at the very same time.
So we ask ourselves, are the people at the very top, at the very, very top, the civilians who are pulling the strings for the US military leadership, are they a serious people? And the answer is yes.
Because at the very same time that all of that was happening, so was the vaccine mandate.
When you go back and you think and you reflect on the way that that mandate was executed, it was incredible.
Think about the Marxism that’s weaved in at every level. Marxists absolutely abhor religious freedom, practice of one’s faith and the loyalty to one’s creator.
What was the first step on the vaccine mandate? It was data harvesting.
Hey, don’t worry. Don’t worry about the mandate. There’ll be a process. Just tell us your strongly held religious beliefs. And that’s what we did. We put it down on paper. We submitted it to our authorities in the Department of Defense, and they have that somewhere.
Once we did that, once we provided the data that we needed to, there was an exceptional purge and it inflicted along the way as much injury as possible, moral injury and economic injury.
As an example, the Marine Corps. The Marine Corps was enthusiastic in the way that it executed the vaccine mandate. They did a blanket denial on the Marine Corps birthday, November 10, 2021, of every single service member that had applied for a religious accommodation.
That was on purpose, I believe, to enforce, inflict that moral injury.
They created the conditions for separating service members in such a way that they would enable the honorable characterization of service to be stripped.
In many cases, they brought those Marines up to the barracks and stripped them of every belonging they had, not wanting a single memory to be in that Marines possession of their service to the core.
For what? For standing by their strongly held relationship, religious beliefs, and for me and my family.
The last taste that I got was trying to go on base after getting a new ID card, waiting for the word of my appeal for my religious accommodation, and having me and my family in their Sundays best barred access to that facility because of COVID protocol.
What do you think that does to the line of service that would have come from my family to this Republic? It destroys it. And that’s the purpose.
The remaking of the US military by those at the very, very top, the civilians that are in charge of this military, to make it such that it resembles our enemies more than the founders would want it to resemble what they intended for this Republic.
The last thing I’ll say is that I made a promise. I took an oath on my 18th birthday to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
Having met one of the parents of those fallen Marines, one of those heroes, their only child, they handed me a copy of the US Constitution and they said, never forget what he died for.
And I never will.
So whether I’m in uniform or whether I’m working for a nonprofit, I will never forget the promise that I made, and I will continue to keep that oath to defend this Republic against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
All you have to do is just look at what are they paying attention to? What are they incentivizing and what are they punishing people for?
You know, right now, if you were to speak the truth about the jihadi enemy, if you were to talk about Sharia, the Muslim Brotherhood, any of the jihadi elements that our service members are doing combat against overseas, if you were to speak about the real truth, you’d be punished.
That’s what this book, Catastrophic Failure talks. Look how thick that is. Catastrophic Failure: Blindfolding of our DoD to the threat from Islamic Jihad.
