STARRS Vice Chairman MG Joe Arbuckle (US Army ret) was a guest on Rightside Radio with host Col. Phil Williams (USA ret) talking about the Army letter that went out asking those that left because of the vax mandate to come back, the Army recruitment crisis and more.

About Col. Williams: Aside from his civilian experience Phil also comes from a family with a long military tradition. He is an Airborne Ranger and retired in July 2017 after 30 years of service with the rank of Colonel (USAR). Phil served two combat tours in the Global War on Terror, one each in Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as one tour in the Pentagon on the Army Staff’s Special Operations Division. He served at all levels in both conventional and special operations forces. His last troop leading position was as the Battalion Commander for the 1-167 th Infantry. His final duty assignment was as a reserve instructor for the Joint Special Operations University, US Special Operations Command.
MG Joe Arbuckle, USA (Ret.) first enlisted in the Army in 1968, and was later commissioned in the Ordnance Corps upon graduating from Officer Candidate School in 1970. Having volunteered for duty as an Infantry Officer, he served a year in Vietnam as an Advisory Team Detachment Commander and as an Assistant District Senior Advisor. He has commanded troops at multiple levels, including as Commanding General of the Joint Ground Task Force, which included an Army and Marine Brigade, as well as Commanding General of Industrial Operations Command (IOC), which was later redesignated the US Army Operations Support Command.
