—Re-engaging in the flawed Iran Nuclear Deal would result in Iran acquiring nuclear weapons along with the means to deliver them, thereby upsetting Mideast peace initiatives and aiding a terrorist nation whose slogans and goals include “death to America” and “death to Israel.”
—Stopping the Keystone Pipeline eliminates our recently established energy independence and causes us to be energy dependent on nations not friendly to us.
—Politically Correct policies like the divisive critical race theory into the military at the expense of the War Fighting Mission, seriously degrades readiness to fight and win our Nation’s wars.
—The “Rule of Law” is fundamental to our Republic and security.
—The mental and physical condition of the Commander in Chief cannot be ignored. He must be able to quickly make accurate national security decisions involving life and limb anywhere, day or night.

How? Citizen involvement at the Local, State, and National levels-emphasis on local grass roots organizations to get involved-then roll these actions into actions at state and federal levels
Education: citizens/parents control schools; not boards, administrators, or unions

Law enforcement: elect sheriffs and DAs who will constitutionally enforce the rule of law and will resist state and federal mandates infringing on Constitutional Rights of citizens
Media: write to local newspapers, radio, and TV stations with facts; correct media misinformation
Organize: citizens within church groups, among church groups, and outside church groups

—The retired Flag Officers signing this letter are calling for the immediate resignation and retirement of the Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley based on dereliction of their duties primarily involving events surrounding the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.
—The consequences of this disaster are enormous and will reverberate for decades.
—The damage to the reputation of the United States is indescribable as we are now seen, and will be seen for many years as an unreliable partner in any multinational agreement or operation. Trust in the United States is irreparably damaged.
—Moreover, now our adversaries are emboldened to move against America due to the weakness displayed in Afghanistan. China benefits the most followed by Russia, Iran, North Korea and others. Terrorists around the world are emboldened and able to pass freely into our Country through our open border with Mexico.
—Top leaders in our military are placing mandatory emphasis on PC wokeness related training which is divisive and harmful to unit cohesion, readiness, and war fighting capability. Our military exists to fight and win our Nation’s wars and that must be the sole focus of our top military leaders.
—For these reasons we call on the SECDEF Austin and the CJCS Gen Milley to immediately resign and retire.

—Today, our nation is on the precipice of losing that fight for our cherished Liberty as enumerated in our Constitution, the document to which we swear our military Oaths.
—Historically, socialism requires an authoritarian form of government like Marxism to impose it on free people. It cannot be done unless “we the people” sacrifice our Constitutional freedoms and become compliant to unconstitutional government mandates and intrusions into everyday lives.
—Many ask, “How can this be?” The short answer is we’ve been too complacent, while over 60+ years the ideology of Marxism/Socialism with associated corruption has slowly infiltrated into our major institutions to wit: educational system, news & social media, political system, judicial system, entertainment industry, corporations, and now tragically our military.
—The greatest threat to our survival is “domestic”, not “foreign”. Those who believe Socialism/Marxism is acceptable fail to look at history; that ideology leads to death and destruction. Considering just Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot, estimates are they killed over 100 million people. America has fought Socialists/Marxists during the Cold War with the Soviets (1947-91); in the 1950s and 60s we fought communists in Korea and Vietnam. Over 95,000 brave Americans were killed in those wars by the same ideology that now controls our government in the Administration and Congress!
— “Woke” social programs like CRT and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) are divisive as they tear at the trust and confidence our warriors must have in each other.
—Public trust in the military has declined in recent years, and Army recruiting is the worst since 1973 causing very dangerous reductions in force size.
—These are Marxist techniques casting us into opposing groups based on the oppressed vs the oppressors, mostly along racial lines.
—The “rule of law” is lost when a double standard exists, laws are selectively enforced, mayors and DAs decide when to prosecute based on politics, preference goes to criminals over victims, Without the “rule of law” and accountability, we have lost our Republic.
—Open borders allowing 2+ million illegals, with unknown numbers of criminals, cartel members, terrorists, drug and sex traffickers, illegal drugs, entering our Country.
—Uncontrolled spending causing the highest inflation in 40 years.
—War on fossil fuels-going from energy independence to energy dependence.
—The assault on free speech and censorship coming from governmental agencies, the media, tech giants, the educational system, etc., is tyrannical. When people are afraid to say in public what they say in private, then freedom of speech is lost to cancel culture, censorship and intimidation.
—We are at a historic crossroads equal in importance to 1776. Do we hold true to our Constitutional Republic or succumb to the failed and deadly Socialist/Marxist ideology?
—National Security issues can be solved with changes to existing political policies, but that requires replacing politicians holding Socialist/Marxist ideologies with those who have the courage to defend our Constitution. Elections have huge consequences.

TO: Speaker McCarthy, House Minority Leader Jeffries, Chairman Rogers and Chairman Calvert
—We respectfully request that Congress, pursuant to its constitutional powers “…to raise and support Armies…” and “… to provide and maintain a Navy…,” take legislative action to remove all diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs from the Department of Defense (DoD). Additionally, we ask that you ensure no DEI related policies, programs, and funding are included in the 2024 NDAA.
—As our Nation faces looming threats from “foreign” adversaries/enemies, our military is under assault from a culture war stemming from “domestic” ideologically inspired political policies and practices. If not stopped now, they will forever change the military’s warrior ethos essential to performing its mission of deterring aggression and failing that, to fight and win our Nation’s wars. Our military must be laser focused on one mission—readiness, undiminished by the culture war engulfing our country.
—For generations, our military was a meritocracy, which simply defined means selection and advancement based solely on merit and ability. Service Members (SMs) were judged not by the color of their skin but by their character, duty performance, and potential. Meritocracy, coupled with equal opportunity, created conditions for all to advance and excel, which stimulates healthy competition, thereby raising standards. Historically, our military has been one of, if not the most, diverse and inclusive institution in America.
—DEI is dividing, not uniting, our military and society. DEI’s principles derive from critical race theory, which is rooted in cultural Marxism, where people are grouped into identity classes (typically by race), labeled as “oppressed” or “oppressors,” and pitted against each other. Under the guise of DEI, some people are selected for career enhancing opportunities and advancement based on preferences given to identity groups based on race, gender, ethnic background, sexual orientation, etc.
—DEI’s “Equity” sounds benign, but in practice it lowers standards. While equality provides equal opportunities, equity’s goal is equal outcomes. To achieve equal outcomes using identity group characteristics, standards must be lowered to accommodate the desired equity outcomes. Lower standards reduce performance where even slight differences in capability impact readiness and can determine war fighting mission success or failure.
—Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) practices use identity-based preferences in selections for career schools and promotions.
—Meritocracy is essential for winning. To win, the best qualified SMs must be selected to lead America’s sons and daughters into life and death situations. Meritocracy wins games and it wins wars!
—Social engineering, commonly called “wokeism,” has no place in our military. China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea are not distracted by DEI programs; no doubt they are watching us. Equal opportunity and merit-based performance have been battle tested for generations and proven essential for success.
