STARRS Ambassador
“Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court. The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.”
—The Constitution of the United States of America, Article III, Section 3
“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. For the traitor appears not a traitor—he speaks in the accents familiar to his victims, and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation—he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of a city—he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to be feared.”
—Attributed to Cicero, Roman statesman, 42 BC

~
Beyond Treason: the Aftermath of Destruction is a fiery critique and analysis focused on the Obama and Biden administrations. Written in 2023 and predicting trouble for the 2024 election, it encompasses the involvement of the Deep State, the increasing danger of China and the threat of the New World Order with its accompanying Great Reset.
In doing so, the authors recount many instances of what they claim were treasonous activities and identify the participants as traitors. In the aftermath of these actions the authors warn us about the dangerous repercussions for America.
The backgrounds of the authors testify to a knowledgeable and formidable group. Lt Gen Thomas McInerney, USAF (Ret) and former Assistant Vice Chief of Staff for the Air Force, has served as a national security analyst for television media outlets for many years and has coauthored several books with Maj Gen Paul Vallely, US Army (Ret).1
General Vallely is Chairman of Stand Up America US Foundation (SUAUSF), has served as a senior military analyst for media outlets, and is the author of a number of books on current threats to our country.2
Mary Fanning is a highly experienced investigative journalist for the American Report, specializing in national security issues. She is the founder of the Coalition of Concerned Citizens and the author of The Hammer is the Key to the Coup.3 Ray DiLorenzo serves on the SUAUSF Board of Directors.4
A major—and fascinating—portion of the book focuses on the surveillance computer THE HAMMER and software application SCORECARD, detailing their existence and misuse, exposed by whistleblower Dennis Montgomery. The employment of this computer system and algorithm by Deep State operatives and Democrats during the 2016 and 2020 elections forms the basis for many of the accusations of treason.
In the chapter “Stolen Election 2020” the authors cite three major actions which contributed to a fraudulent election:
- “Actions that changed vote counts,” such as cyberwarfare using HAMMER and SCORECARD;
- “Action by influencers or vote shapers, like Fake News, and social media…”; and
- “Action by US Government Agencies like the FBI that hid the Hunter Biden Laptop Story,” along with members of the Intelligence Community who documented that the story was “probably Russian Disinformation.”
Those who “planned, took part in, concealed, and controlled these crimes” committed treason, according to the authors.
Furthermore, foreign intervention—“Cyber warfare from the CCP…supported by Democrats…” is labelled an “Act of Treason.”
Even Vice President Pence cannot avoid an accusation of criminal activity. According to the authors, during the certification of Electoral College votes from the 2020 election, he could have—and should have—rejected the vote counts of key battleground states, returning them for an audit. Those states’ vote counts were particularly suspicious. This inaction is deemed an act of treason.
Who else is on the list of traitors? “There is a treasonous group of domestic enemies who have seized power”—those who were conducting Oval Office business while Biden was not functioning as President.
There are also the “RINOs and Dems” who rejected MAGA—”a measure of their hatred for American.” The “betrayal of the bad” has become a “good thing, which automatically becomes the default position of the best and the brightest of the Deep State—Treason.”
Are all of the actions described above treasonous and, therefore, did all of the participants commit treason?
Using Cicero’s description, perhaps some of the actions would pass the test; certainly, manipulation of votes in the 2020 election would qualify as an act that would “rot the soul of a nation.”
Regarding the Constitution, Beyond Treason addresses Article III, Section 3, to a certain extent. However, more convincing arguments for the numerous charges of treason in the book would have specifically addressed Constitutional and Federal Law. NB: Treason is so serious that it is the only crime defined in the Constitution of the United States of America.
Like many sections or clauses of the Constitution, court decisions—even up to the level of the Supreme Court—interpret the words of our Founding Fathers. The following details explaining Article III, Section 3, are derived from such court decisions.
First of all, what is “levying war” against the United States? This “refers to assembling for a purpose ‘treasonable in itself’ [and] it requires actions against the United States and not just a conspiracy against the nation. In other words, it means ‘open action’ against the United States through the use of force.”5
Regarding “aid and comfort” to the enemy, this “means more than giving assistance that is ‘casually useful’ to them. Instead, the aid or comfort must assist the enemy in some essential way to assist in their plan or desiring to commit a treasonous act.”
For the conviction of a defendant, the Supreme Court has ruled that the government must prove both “adherence of loyalty to an enemy of the United States, and providing aid or comfort to the enemy.” Loyalty to an enemy must involve “intent to betray the United States” and “Providing Aid and Comfort” requires an act that “tends to strengthen the enemy or weakens (or tends to weaken) the United States.”6
An “enemy of the United States” is a “person, partnership, or other group of individuals who live within the territory of any nation the United States is at war with.” An “overt act” manifests a treasonous intent that the actor takes to accomplish their objective [and] must be intentional.”7
Reference Article III, Section 3, Clause 2, the Punishment for Treason, defined in 18 U.S.C. §2381, states that the guilty “shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any officer under the United States.”
The criteria just cited should have served as the basis for examining the many accusations of treason made by the authors; such a discussion would have strengthened Beyond Treason.
Nevertheless, this hard-hitting book is of value to the reader by providing key warnings for the battle to preserve our Constitutional Republic.
The explanation of THE HAMMER and SCORECARD and the way in which they were used to manipulate votes, especially in 2020, is outstanding. The related discussion of fraudulent voting also adds to what is one of the most critical threats to our country: corrupting our fundamental—in fact, our sacred—right to vote.
Other significant warnings cover the dangers of the Deep State, the COVID-19 “Biological Attack on America,” the New World Order promulgated by the World Economic Forum at Davos, and the ever present and growing Marxism in the institutions of our country.
In a chapter on “The Aftermath,” the warnings continue with “the Corruption of Everything” in our society, the toleration of Chinese infiltration, the operations of cartels, suppressed energy production, growing national debt, illegal immigration and a “fraudulent climate change charade.”
A second edition could be improved in several ways. First, add more footnotes, particularly in reference to quotes. Better editing would correct errors such as: “SCOUTS” vs “SCOTUS”; sideways carets appearing in the place of apostrophes in several sections; and the repetition of paragraphs, some word for word. Eliminate language such as “pissed-off” and “shxx.” Finally, the quote in a brief discussion of Supreme Court Justice Kentanji Brown Jackson—“A black vagina was needed for equity and gender justice” (without a source or context)—is inappropriate for serious argument.
You could read these 146 pages in one evening and use that opportunity to vent your frustrations over the many threats to our country.
However—fortunately—a short but significant and optimistic message is embedded in the text: “Good people built this country, and they will fix it.” Let’s keep that in mind!
