Army Suspends Reserves Officer Cheering Charlie Kirk’s Death, Threatening Trump Admin

By Wallace White | The Daily Caller News Foundation

The Army suspended and is investigating a reserve officer who cheered on Charlie Kirk’s assassination while making threatening statements towards President Donald Trump and White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, a defense official exclusively told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Army Reserves Maj. Bryan Bintliff, who goes by “Bryan Harlow” on social media and as an actor, wrote several posts on social media cheering on Kirk’s assassination, implying that Miller should also be assassinated, and wishing death upon Trump. The Army was notified of Bintliff’s posts, suspending the Major while the Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID) investigates the incident.

“A monster died today,” one post wrote in the wake of Kirk’s killing. “It’s sad Charlie’s kids are traumatized for life, but it’s not a sad thing that he’s dead.”

“Lets not let him get sugar coated after death,” he wrote in another post. “Drag him for all that he was and all the harm he would eventually do if he continued to live.”

The officer is assigned to the 8th Medical Brigade, 3rd Theater Medical Command in Staten Island, New York, the official told the DCNF.

Numerous Pentagon officials have said military departments and service branches will have “zero tolerance” for service-members celebrating Kirk’s assassination. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said on X Thursday that the Pentagon was “tracking” celebratory commentary on the murder, calling it “completely unacceptable.”

“Mocking or celebrating the assassination of a fellow American is unacceptable in the ranks,” Pentagon Chief Spokesperson Sean Parnell said on X Saturday. “Zero tolerance means zero tolerance.”

Kirk was killed on September 10th during an event at Utah Valley University (UVU). The suspect, Tyler Robinson, 22, allegedly engraved multiple “antifascist” and leftist messages on bullet casings, Republican Utah Gov. Spencer Cox revealed at a press conference Friday.

A family member told law enforcement that Robinson had “become more political in recent years” and was “full of hate,” Cox said. The relative alleged Robinson talked about Kirk’s plans to come speak at UVU and how much he disliked him.

In this one, his “f*** Mike Johnson” comment qualifies him for a rendezvous with Article 88, UCMJ.
