Candidate Survey 2026: Why do you want to serve in the office for which you are running?

I’m a lifelong Christian, a devoted father and husband, and a constitutional conservative ready to represent our community in Congress and fight for our shared values.

I’m running to be a strong ally to President Donald Trump and to maintain Congressman Andy Biggs’ record by championing America First priorities. As a builder, employer, and father, I’ll bring a results-driven approach to Congress that secures the border, strengthens public safety, and grows the economy for working families. I’ll cut red tape, rein in waste, and defend our constitutional freedoms. I feel I am the best suited candidate in my race to bring effective America First governance to AZ-05.

I believe prosperity starts with strong families and local businesses. I’ll stand up to bureaucrats and special interests, support parents’ rights in education, and advance reliable, affordable energy. From lowering the cost of living to enforcing the rule of law and protecting election integrity, I’ll put America first, and Arizona families first.

To solve problems.  Housing and one of the key issues plaguing this nation are HOA’s.  Also, the environment (Moss Landing issue), immigration, women’s rights, local projects like highway 183 and highway 1 for an overpass, economy, protest girls sports and girls in their own bathroom, protect children, improve our schools with competition as well as back to food cooked at schools.  None of these plastic baggies of processed foods.  Voter ID–if someone wants to vote in Iran, they have to have their actual birth certificate.  They can’t talk their way in and say “I’m voting!” like it is here in California.  Health care is a big issue.  Moreover, data privacy and scams.  Americans are scammed out of millions of their hard earned money.  We need to work with companies and people who go after these scammers.  Data privacy.  Every time an app is downloaded, people accept without knowing what they are agreeing to.  300 pages, agree that is for an attorney.  Companies should include in either two stages or at the top a quick 1-3 sentences summary like “we are recording from your phone 24×7 any and all words, selling your information that will be sold about your voice, address, locations, ….” etc.  What ever they do on a simple summary.  If that is accepted, then advance to the full legal document (or put atop so people look for that section).  Too much is stored about Americans, which is sold without us knowing what it is.

I am running to help represent every American.  I am not here to divide.  As long as it protects Americans, that is what a leader is in government for the USA.  I’ve worked both in union jobs, and white collar.  We live in our communities where half our neighbors are democrat, and half are republican.  It is exactly true that we all have one thing in common and that is being American.  The American dream is drifting further away from people with too much taxes, regulations and in my humble opinion, with the programs.  Programs to help people back on their feet is okay, but not programs that keep people on programs.  This keeps people poor.  Struggles are okay as someone may come up with an idea.  That idea can turn into success.  Without struggles, we no longer can think for ourselves.

My experiences in life working as a computer scientist, real estate agent and a freight locomotive engineer for the Union Pacific Railroad, I can bring more to the table to help our country.

Too often, we see unelected agencies, executive orders, and shifting political agendas replace the rule of law. That’s not how our system was designed to work. I’m stepping forward to restore accountability, protect individual liberties, and ensure that the rights of the people, not the power of government, come first.

If you, the person or people reading this, truly feel as though either one of the major parties are not corrupt, I feel sorry for you.

I’m currently running for Congress in Florida’s First Congressional District. It is the most conservative district in Florida and is the most veteran densely populated district in the country. Washington, and especially Congress, is absolutely broken and this district not only deserves a strong conservative fighter, but also very importantly someone who understands the difficulties our service members, veterans, and their families face. I believe God has used every experience I’ve had up to this point to prepare me for this time and He is calling me to fight to save this country and especially to fight for the people of Northwest Florida.

I am not seeking office to become another career politician or to advance a party agenda. I am running to restore representative government by strengthening Congress, returning power closer to the people, and ensuring the federal government remains limited to its constitutional role. My highest priority is restoring meaningful representation by expanding the House of Representatives, reducing corruption, and renewing the accountability that protects liberty. I believe a freer, more prosperous, and more united nation begins with a Congress that truly reflects the people it serves.

I want to bring practical, accountable leadership to Washington that lowers costs for families, protects Social Security and Medicare, strengthens our economy, supports veterans and military families, and ensures government works for the people it serves. I believe elected officials should listen first, govern responsibly, and focus on solving problems rather than fueling division.

Second, I want to bring North Florida values to Congress. I’ve seen firsthand how broken Washington is. As someone who is raising a family in the Panhandle and whose family is deeply rooted in the Panhandle, I want to bring a culture change to Washington that will put our nation back on the right track.

All of our values are under attack by socialism, communism, and woke ideology.  All of these must be eradicated from our culture.

I have been preparing for that responsibility ever since—not by working my way through Washington or building relationships with power brokers, but by building a life in the community I hope to represent. I raised my children in Florida, maintained a strong marriage of more than twenty-two years, built a career, owned a business, and lived the same challenges faced by the people of this district.

I am not going to Washington to tell my constituents what is happening there. I am going to Washington to tell Washington what is happening to my constituents.

A big reason is the duopoly is the Epstein Class is the oligarchy is fascist are imperialists. While they are happy to take our children on island get aways, they are not really looking out for us once we get past 25 or so. I find it strange that people are still supporting this. Gross even.

With this knowledge that we all have, people must break the corporate duopoly. Anyone who has a soul should leave the uniparty and run with the Green Party, Libertarian Party, PSL, or any non Epstein Party.

My morals say blue and red war is bad. I will stop all wars.

3. No more foreign wars on behalf of another nation. Too many of my brothers and sisters in uniform have died for the actions of a country that we didn’t swear allegiance to. We must call for peace and get our service members out of harms way. Instead of using OUR hard earned taxes to fund bombs to drop on elementary schools and hospitals over there, we should invest in building schools, hospitals  and our crumbling infrastructure over here. America first.

Also stronger unions, living wages for our workers, guaranteed paid sick leave, and paid family leave when you have a child, invest in education across the country, women’s rights, and many other policies.

Ultimately, we are unapologetically fighting for the working class not the donor class. Most of our issues we face today are not left versus right, but top versus bottom. It’s the very wealthy that bribe our politicians to screw the rest of us over.

To eliminate wokism, then we must restore the strong U.S. dollar.

As a U.S. Senator, this would give me a voice and a vote to remove these bad actors for the people of Kentucky who feel disenfranchised by our elected officials not being held accountable, according to law.

For too long, many families in our communities have faced rising costs of living, limited economic opportunities, housing challenges, and concerns about safety and infrastructure. I want to be a voice in Washington that listens to the people at home and works to bring real solutions that improve our quality of life.

My focus is on strengthening our communities by supporting good jobs, improving access to education and workforce training, addressing housing shortages, protecting our seniors and veterans, and ensuring that federal resources are used responsibly to benefit the people they are meant to serve.

Public service should be about lifting people up and bringing communities together. I’m running because I believe our district deserves representation that is present, accountable, and committed to building a stronger future for everyone.

We are currently at a crossroads. As Malcolm X famously noted in his ‘The Ballot or the Bullet’ speech, when we fail to find common ground through the political process, the alternative is social collapse. I believe we must choose the ‘ballot’ by submerging our private, individual dogmas in favor of a unified civic foundation.

My platform focuses on socioeconomic evolution through science and technology—specifically fusion energy and AI ethics—rather than the traditionalist, individual-focused arguments offered by my opponent, Berney Flowers. We must ensure that our national policy is guided by reason and shared civic responsibility, moving past the ‘Scopes Monkey Trial’ era of local dogma overriding objective reality. I want to serve to ensure our district leads the way into a future of innovation and institutional reform.

I want to bring a conservative, constitutional, people-first approach to Washington. That means defending individual liberty, restoring fiscal discipline, protecting American sovereignty, and ensuring our military remains focused on readiness, merit, and national defense.

I’m running because I believe government should serve the people, not political machines, not special interests. Too many families in South Jersey are struggling with rising costs, declining opportunities, and a system that feels rigged against them.

I’m stepping up because I refuse to sit back while that continues. I want to bring a real-world perspective to Congress, one rooted in hard work, accountability, and common sense, and fight for the working families who deserve a voice again.

A new generation of Americans needs to serve in Washington.

I am willing to fight against what I call the Liberal Agenda to Weaken America (LAWA) — policies that divide our citizens, weaken our economy, undermine parental rights, and move our nation further away from the values that made this country strong.

I believe America works best when we protect freedom, support small businesses, defend families, and recognize that our rights come from God, not government.

I am running to push back hard against that overreach. My priorities are simple and direct:

– End all federal DEI programs and restore merit-based decisions in government and contracting.
– Prevent any future vaccine or medical mandates from being imposed on civilians or military members.
– Secure the border by enforcing existing immigration law without catch-and-release or sanctuary loopholes.
– Cut wasteful federal spending and reduce the size and scope of the federal government.
– Protect individual liberty and states rights from further federal intrusion.

I am not running for a career in politics or to join the club in Washington. I am running to be a consistent vote for limited government, fiscal restraint, and policies that put American citizens first. If elected, I will show up every day to shrink federal power, not expand it.

I have a decorated career and want to use the skills I have acquired working in the private sector and in both Trump Administrations to serve my hometown seat of Central New York which has been left behind.

Before I considered running for office, I spent decades building in communities where others walked away from and working alongside families, entrepreneurs, and community leaders across our region. Those experiences taught me that leadership is measured by results, not promises.
Congress was designed by the Founders to be the branch closest to the people and restoring that responsibility requires leaders who are willing to listen, deliberate, and govern with discipline rather than perform for headlines.

District 1 deserves unified representation not a district operating as isolated silos where some communities receive far more support than others. My goal is to help connect Hamilton, Warren, and Clinton Counties through cohesive leadership that supports economic growth, strengthens families, and ensures communities across the district have a voice in Washington.

Washington needs leaders who build, not perform. I am ready to bring that builder’s mentality to Congress grounded in faith, discipline, and a lifelong commitment to service.

Philadelphia families are dealing with violent crime, the drug epidemic in Kensington, unsafe streets, high costs, struggling small businesses, and neighborhoods that feel forgotten by career politicians. I am running because our district needs leadership that puts citizens first, supports law enforcement, restores public safety, protects constitutional rights, and brings federal resources back into our communities for cleanup, recovery, economic development, and real opportunity.

I still think reducing the debt as a percent of the GDP is vital, but now I see candidates rising up who seem to have no alliance to the founding documents.

I am a descendant of Robert Morris, who put his life on the line for the sake of the creation of our Republic.

While I may be at similar risk from a random malcontent, I do not expect that outcome at the hand of the state for defending our foundational freedoms.

I am currently finishing my third term in the South Carolina House of Representatives. Prior to that, I served one term on Mount Pleasant Town Council, where I gained valuable experience working directly with constituents and addressing local challenges. That local service laid the foundation for my work at the State House, and I believe my legislative experience at the State House has prepared me to effectively serve in Washington.

I am running for Congress because I believe our country is at a critical turning point. We need leaders who will restore fiscal responsibility, secure the border, strengthen our economy, and ensure that opportunity remains within reach for hardworking families. I want to be a bridge builder who works to deliver real results and codify policies that strengthen our nation for the long term.

I also believe we need reinforcements in Washington who will stand firmly on constitutional principles and support a stronger, more secure America. I intend to bring a practical, results-driven approach to Congress, focused on solving problems, not playing politics, and ensuring the next generation inherits a stronger country than the one we received.

Here in Memphis, too many veterans are struggling with homelessness, waiting too long for healthcare and benefits they earned, and coming home to find few pathways to good jobs and stable housing. That is not just a policy failure — it is a moral failure. I am running because I refuse to accept that.

I have spent my life fighting for people whose voices go unheard and whose rights get pushed aside. I know what it means to fight a system that was not built to serve you, and I know what it takes to keep standing anyway. That is the fight I will bring to this office on behalf of every veteran and every military family in our community — fighting for accessible housing, mental health resources, job training and hiring priority, and real accountability from the agencies that are supposed to serve you.

You kept your promise to this country. It’s time this country — and this city — kept its promise to you. That is why I’m running, and that is the commitment I make to you.

Other politicians are so focused on fringe issues, they’ve forgotten the basics.

I want to serve in this office to restore competitive markets, strengthen national credit, reduce structural cost drivers in housing, energy, healthcare, and logistics, and ensure that public institutions operate efficiently and transparently.

My goal is measurable: higher productivity, lower cost of living, stronger supply chains, and more durable economic growth. Public office should be about institutional performance, not ideology.

North Texas deserves practical leadership focused on lowering costs, strengthening national security, securing the border, protecting constitutional rights, and restoring trust in government. I’m running to bring a service-oriented mindset to Congress, to put people over politics and deliver serious solutions instead of partisan theater.

I am running because I believe America’s Greatest Days Are Still Ahead of US!

I am running because I believe Washington has become too disconnected from the people it serves. Families are struggling with the rising cost of living, our national debt continues to grow, our borders must be secured, and too many decisions are being made by unelected bureaucrats instead of accountable representatives.

If elected, I will work to restore constitutional government, protect individual liberty, strengthen our economy, support our military and veterans, defend religious freedom, and ensure that future generations inherit a stronger, more prosperous America. I am not seeking office for personal gain or political ambition. I am seeking the opportunity to serve the people of Virginia’s 7th Congressional District with integrity, humility, and faithfulness to the Constitution.

There must be changes made, and on the state level in Washington, that won’t happen anytime soon. And we need these changes now!

I’m running to take the service I have given to Washington State and the 8th District to a higher level, to keep doing the work I’ve been doing just at a higher level.

I’m here to bring a New Generation of Strong, Principled, No-Nonsense Leadership that is grounded in service not politics.

My own experiences showed me how difficult it can be for ordinary people to challenge powerful institutions and demand transparency. I want to bring that fight to Congress by auditing government programs, exposing waste and favoritism, defending constitutional rights, and making government answer to the people again.

I am running as an Independent because public service should be about solving problems, not protecting a political party. Wisconsin deserves representation focused on affordability, accountability, and transparency.
